Dr Namrata Sobarun (MBBS, FRACP) is a specialist neurologist at Brisbane Neurology and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She is locally trained and completed a fellowship in movement disorders and MND neurophysiology.
Dr Sobarun has special interests in movement disorders (including Parkinson’s disease and other tremors), headache and migraine (including Botox for certain conditions). Dr Sobarun is currently accepting general neurology referrals.
She holds an academic appointment with the University of Queensland and actively participates in the ongoing education of junior doctors and medical students. She regularly participates in clinical trials and research for neuromuscular conditions.
In her spare time, Nam likes to borrow her friends’ dog for walks and is an avid gardener.
