Dr Kristen Lefever (BSc (Neuroscience), MBBS, MMed (Pain management), FRACP) is a specialist neurologist at Brisbane Neurology, and consultant neurologist at the Princess Alexandra and Mater Hospitals Brisbane.ย
Dr Lefever completed medical training through Griffith University. She went on to study a Master of Medicine at the University of Sydney. She completed her neurology training within south east Queensland, gaining experience in all areas of neurology. Dr Lefever has undertaken a clinical and research fellowship in neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis at the Princess Alexandra and Mater Hospitals.ย ย
In addition to clinical neurology, Dr Lefever is undertaking research in the areas of multiple sclerosis and pain. She holds an academic appointment with the University of Queensland and actively participates in the ongoing education of junior doctors and medical students.ย
Kristen dreams of one day having spare time, but for now her young family of four keep her busy outside of work.
Special interests: multiple sclerosis, immune medicated neurological disorders, headache, migraine and general neurology.ย
