Dr Gaurav Singh has recently been successful in passing the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) Certification Examination.
Physicians who practice electrodiagnostic (EDX) medicine diagnose and manage individuals of all ages who have medical problems related to muscle and nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, myasthenia gravis, and neuropathies. The most common EDX tests include electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies.
The American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine is the national certifying body for physicians specializing in EDX medicine. It was established in 1989 to maintain the high standards required for EDX certification and promote high quality patient care.
COVID-19 is an unfolding public health emergency and poses a number of challenges to us all. We are offering Telehealth appointments to all current patients to enable continuity of care. Because of the need to examine people, it is best if new patients are seen initially face to face, however this will be reassessed if necessary. We are continuing to provide nerve conduction studies and Botulinum toxin treatment with increased infection control in place.
If you are unwell with flu-like symptoms however, we would be very grateful if you would reschedule your appointment or contact us to arrange a Telehealth consultation.
We hope everyone stays safe over the coming weeks.
