COVID-19

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering Telehealth appointments to all patients to enable continuity of care. Because of the need to examine people, it is best if new patients are seen initially face to face, however given there are increased difficulties with travel particularly from regional areas, we will also see new patients via Telehealth. We are continuing to provide EEGs, nerve conduction studies and Botulinum toxin treatment with increased infection control in place. Unless directed otherwise by Queensland Health, face to face consultations are currently available.

If you are unwell with respiratory or flu-like symptoms however, we would be very grateful if you would reschedule your appointment or contact us to arrange a Telehealth consultation.

At times masks will be required to be worn depending on the directives from Queensland Health and Mater Health Services. As our practice is located in the Salmon Building, part of Mater Health Services, there is screening at the main entrances to the building. It can be busy at times and it is worthwhile considering this when arriving for appointments.
